1.0 How do I View a Market? - Properties for Sale and Buyers or Properties to Rent and RentersEvery property has its own ‘Market View’ page (MV)
From the MV page you can see all the different Types of unit in the property (e.g. 2 Bed Apartment or Type C 3 Bed Villa).
The Buyers and Sellers for the Type that you choose are displayed on the MV page. Buyers on the left hand side of the page and sellers on the right.
From the MV you can switch between Sales and Rentals (by pushing the Sales /Rentals button) and you can use Filters to customise MV and see the type of properties or buyers you specifically want within your chosen market. -
1.1 How do I find the Market I want to view?1.From the user menu at the top of the screen click the Property Search Button.
2.Type the name of the Property you want and push the Enter key.
3.The Property name you enter will appear under the search box when found.
Click on the Property Name and you will be taken to the Market View page (MV) for that property.
4.On the MV page, you will see property address.
All the Types (e.g. Studio, 1 Bed, 2 Bed, Penthouse) are listed on a dropdown.
5.Click on the Type you want and you will see the MV (i.e. Buyers and Sellers) for your Type. -
1.2 How do I add a Property for Sale, a Buyer or a Rental Interest ?1.Go to the User Menu and click on the ‘Add Sales’ button or ‘Add Rentals’.
2.At the top of the ‘Add Sales’ page, you must choose to ‘Add a Buyer’ or ‘Add a Property’

At the top the ‘Add Rental’ page, you must choose to ‘Add a Tenant’ or ‘Add a Property’
3.Enter the name of your property into the predictive search and click on your property’s name, when it is displayed.
4.Tick the Property Type you want, from the selection of Available Property Types.
5.Enter your Client’s price and as required, tick Mortgaged, Tenanted, Exclusive or Cash Buyer Boxes.
6.Add Additional Information by clicking on the Filters listed (e.g. Upper Floor, Marina View).
The more information you give through the Filters, the better. It will allow you to make better / more accurate connections.
7.Add Client Information, by clicking ‘Select a Seller or Buyer’, for sales or for a rental, ‘Select a Tenant or Landlord, and filling in the onscreen form.
ONLY YOU SEE THIS INFORMATION, it is not displayed on the site.
8. Push the ‘Publish’ button and you will be taken to the relevant MV screen, where you will see your post. -
1.3 How do I Connect with Another Broker ?On the Market View page, you will see Buying and Selling Brokers or Tenant's and Landlord's Brokers, prices.
Next to every Broker’s price, is a Connect Button.
If you like the broker’s unit or price and want to speak with them, push the Connect Button.
When you do this, you will see the Broker’s name and company name. BrokerConnector will then send you both an email with each other’s detail - You are now connected and may phone or email each other.
IMPORTANT - YOU CANNOT CONNECT IF:
1. You have not posted a price on the Market View page. Until you post your own price on the MV page, you can see the market but you cannot connect.
2. You can only connect with ‘The Other Side’. This means if you are a buyer, you can only connect with a seller and vice versa. -
1.4 How do I Remove/Delete my Sales or Rental Posts?1. From ‘My BrokerConnector’ on the user menu click on ‘Selling Interests’ or ‘Buying Interests’.
All of your Sales and Rental posts are listed here and you have the option to Delete (X) after each one.
2.From anywhere on the site, when you see a Post ID (i.e. the address and Type for one of your Sales or Rentals posts), it is clickable.
When you click, you will be taken to the post on its Market View Page.
From here, you can click on the Edit icon next to the post and you may then delete it, by clicking the ‘Delete’ button, at the bottom of the edit page. -
1.5 What is the Trusted Broker Function ?The Trusted Broker allows you to identify Brokers and their posts on the BrokerConnector site as Trusted. This means that you may consider them to be a friend, someone you rate as being very professional or simply someone that you like to do business with.
If add a Broker to your Trusted Broker list, their posts on the Market View page will have a ‘Thumbs Up’ icon next to them, before you have connected.
This allows you to recognise a price as belonging to someone that you trust so you can connect with them first if you have a choice of connections.
The opposite of the Trusted / Thumbs Up, is Backlisted / Thumbs Down
If you do not want to do business with or connect to a certain Broker, you can put them on your Broker Blacklist.
Their posts will have a Thumbs Down icon next to them, so you know not to connect unless you have no option! -
1.6 How do I Trust or Blacklist a Broker?1. Before Connecting with a broker-
By using the ‘Broker Search’ option on the user menu, you can type the name of a Broker and see if they are a BrokerConnector user.
If they are, you can click on their name and you will be taken to their Profile Page.
From the Broker’s Profile page, you have the option to add them to your Trusted Brokers or Blacklist them.
2. After Connecting with a broker-
When you push the Connect button on an MV page, the Broker’s name, that you have just connected with, appears on the button. By clicking on their name, you are taken to their profile where you may Trust or Blacklist them. -
1.7 Where is the Trusted Broker List / Blacklisted Broker List?From the User Menu, click on 'My BrokerConnector' and then from the Drop Down click on‘Trusted Brokers’.
From here you have the option to view your Trusted Broker List or go to your Blacklisted Broker List.
From both lists, you have the option to remove Brokers by clicking the X, after their name. -
1.8 What is ‘My BrokerConnector’?My BrokerConnector Dashboard / Control Panel, from where a Broker can see and manage all their site content and see all their notifications of contact with other users and the site.
It is divided into 7 sections-
1. Profile
2. Selling Interests
3. Buying Interests
4. Connections
5. Trusted Brokers
6. Notifications
7. Logout -
1.9 Your User ProfileThis is the area of the site where you can enter and edit your personal details such as phone number and email address.
From here you can also edit your public profile i.e. what other site users can see when they connect with you, or look you up, by using the ‘Brokers Search’ function.
You can upload a photo of yourself and post a professional biography.
